MORROWFEST Shows Raise £9,000 For Late IRON MONKEY Frontman
September 2, 2002The Morrowfest shows — held last month in tribute to the late IRON MONKEY frontman Johnny Morrow — have raised £9,000 (approximately $14,000). Two shows were held in London and Nottingham and featured EYEHATEGOD, ORANGE GOBLIN, DUKES OF NOTHING, BLACKROCK, -(16)-, CHARGER, THE BLUEPRINT, DAILO, TAINT, MURDER ONE, HELVIS, BLACKEYE RIOT, MISTRESS, THE LAST DROP, LABRAT, KHANG, THIRTY SECONDS UNTIL ARMAGEDDON, COY DOG, ARMY OF FLYING ROBOTS, TUSKAN COALITION + DJ's, BIG SISTER, THE HORROR and SLOTH. Johnny died earlier this summer through heart failure. All the proceeds will be given to Johnny's parents who will decide where the money will go. A few T-shirts are still available for sale at this location.
